Our Schools Programme is a 6-8 week coach-led initiative designed to introduce pupils to badminton through a fun, inclusive and engaging learning experience.
Delivered by BWF-qualified coaches, the programme helps pupils develop fundamental badminton skills while promoting teamwork, confidence and enjoyment of physical activity.
Schools participating in the programme will have the opportunity to attend a badminton festival alongside other schools. These festivals provide a lively and supportive environment where pupils can develop their skills, build confidence and interact with pupils from different schools.
Each festival includes a range of badminton activities and good relations workshops that encourage respect, cooperation and positive interactions.
To take part in our Schools Programme, your school must be affiliated with Ulster Badminton.
Following completion of the programme, affiliated schools can:

"Our school had a very positive experience with the Ulster Badminton coaching sessions. The programme provided an excellent opportunity for pupils to learn new skills and develop a genuine interest in badminton.
The coaches were highly professional, engaging, and fantastic with the children. Sessions were well organised and carefully structured, supporting beginners while also offering appropriate challenges for more experienced players.
I would highly recommend these sessions to any school."
