Ulster Badminton Excel Coach Development Programme 2026/27
Ulster Badminton are pleased to open the application for the Ulster Badminton Excel Coach Development Programme 2026/27. The programme is designed to support and develop Ulster Based coaches across a range of areas including knowledge, skills and experiences in a shared learning environment.
Over a period of 9 months, up to 10 coaches will meet, discuss and share knowledge around our sport in relation to:
- Developing their individual coaching book/ portfolio with all elements relations to badminton (tactical, technical, mental, physical, planning and pedagogy etc)
- Developing and strengthening their own coaching philosophy
- Developing an understanding of players’ requirements and optimal working methods to develop players with examples at 4 different development stages
