The Expleo Ulster Premier Open took place at Lisburn Racquets Clubs on Saturday 6th January & it provided great badminton over the day, with new emerging young talent braking through, along with some returning players taking home titles.

There was a strong showing from all players across all 5 events, with Laura Comber winning the Women’s Singles defeating the Top seed in the final. Former Commonwealth Games players Sinead Chambers & Ciaran Chambers put in an experienced performance to win the Mixed Doubles title against fellow Ulster pair Curtis Presho & Chloe Woods.  17 year old Dylan Noble took home the Men’s Singles title defeating Ulster’s Tony Stephenson who unfortunately had to retire injured.
