BWF Shuttle Time Course
Ulster Badminton hosted a BWF Shuttle Time Course at Strathearn School on Saturday 7th October, with 11 participants qualifying with their coaching award.
BWF Tutor Ciaran Chambers lead the Course, which is ran over 1 day ( 6hours), providing a relaxed and interactive learning environment. Upon receiving their Coaching qualification the participants received a Teachers' manual with 10 Modules, along with 22 lesson plans with video clips embedded.
Exciting for the 11 newly qualified coaches to go back into their club environment and start their coaching journey, sharing the information gained at the course.
The BWF Shuttle time qualification is designed to be the first step on the ladder to becoming a coach. It is aimed at assistant coaches in clubs, and school teachers who wish to deliver badminton in their schools. Shuttle Time will give participants a basic knowledge of the coaching process and teach them the material for coaching beginners based on the resources.
