Description
Who is it for?
This is the second step on the coaching pathway in Ireland. The course is designed for those who have a basic level of badminton experience and knowledge, who wish to coach at club, county-level or do some private coaching. Coaches will learn to session plan, deliver and improve their own skills and knowledge of the game.
Cost:
- The course cost is now a reduced rate of €150 which is paid when registering via the Sport 80 platform.
- We offer free refresh for anyone who has taken an old Badminton Ireland Level 1 Course (Pre 2013).
Requirements:
- Be over 18 years old and an affiliated Badminton Ireland member.
- You need to attend all four contact days unless pre-agreed with tutor or Badminton Ireland staff before the course commences.
Delivery & resources:
The course is normally delivered over 2 weekends (32 hours contact time) with short practical assignments. The material for the course will be given to candidates in electronic format before the course and as a further resource below via YouTube videos.
