Ulster badminton currently has 1 Raw Performance Squad which takes place in Banbridge Academy. This squad was set up in October 2010 to provide further badminton specific training for players who had passed through the Southern Sports Partnership’s Racquet Sports Academy in the previous seasons.
The squad meets for an initial ten sessions prior to Christmas and then another ten in the New Year. Each of the sessions last 90 minutes in duration and are delivered by Leslie Dewart former Ulster Badminton High Performance Coach.
