Stephensons’ Victorious at Leinster Open!

Sunday 22nd of December 2012 saw both Alannah & Tony Stephenson bidding for a place in the finals of the Leinster Open. The young Ulster talent, Alannah, appeared in all 3 semi-finals whilst older brother, Tony, was hoping to secure victory in his 2 semi-finals at the Championship.

Great start for Ulster at Leinster Open!

On Saturday 21st January 2012 many of Ulsters top players traveled to compete in the Leinster Open. This would be Scott Burnside’s first tournament back after his Injury in the Irish International in December and a good opportunity to test his fitness and playing level before the Irish Nationals in February.

Coach Workshop – Saturday 14th January

Ulster Badminton will be running a Coaching Workshop on Saturday 14th January at Lisburn Racquets Club.  This workshop is open to those coaches who currently work with the Ulster Underage Squads and those who coach Talent Squads. (see Performance tab for a list)

Ulster U11 Open Draws!

The U11 event will start at 12.00 with the Mixed Doubles. All players are required to check in at match control 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match and all entry fees must be paid before you play!

Please note the Men’s Singles will start at 10am with the Women’s Singles starting at 10.20. All semi-finals and finals will be played on the Saturday evening!
