    Coaching Workshop & Training Sessions


    Ulster Badminton are delighted to announced that we are bringing former Great Britain international player Nathan Robertson to the province to deliver a series of workshops for players and coaches. Nathan is a former World No.1 in Mixed Doubles and World No.4 in Men’s Doubles and competed at the top of the world game. He achieved many significant accomplishments in his career including, World and European Championship Gold Medals, Gold at 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games and a Silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Since retiring from playing Nathan has made the transition into coaching working as part of the Badminton England Performance programme as well as working individually with some of England’s top young players.

    During his visit Nathan will be delivering sessions for 11-13 year olds, 14-16 year olds and for coaches. The sessions will take place on the weekend of Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th March 2019. Details of the various sessions are below. Please be aware numbers for each session are limited due to court space and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

    Session Details:

    Saturday 23rd March 2019 – 10am-12pm, Session for 11-13 year olds. - National Badminton Centre, Lisburn- Cost £15 per person

    Saturday 23rd March 2019 – 2-4pm, Session for 14-16 year olds-National Badminton Centre, Lisburn Cost £15 per person

    Sunday 24th March 2019 – 11am-2pm, Session for Coaches- National Badminton Centre, Lisburn Cost £10 per person.
